Murderer

Thinking you can sneak around without talking is the usual rookie move

Murderer feels like paranoia with a map. It’s tense in bursts, then stupidly calm, then chaotic when someone screams. You basically move, probe other players, set up kills or accuse people until a vote sends someone away. Sometimes it plays like hide and seek, other times like a poker table where everyone keeps bluffing.

The learning curve is weird. First games are just surviving and learning maps. After a few rounds you start noticing tells, timings, how players walk. I like playing the detective role more than the killer. Bias alert I prefer accusing and being dramatic rather than sneaking around alone.

Casual advice keep near others early, watch who separates, mimic innocent tasks if needed, and don’t overexplain when accused. Controls are simple so you will learn them on the fly click to interact, move with the obvious keys and a short button for actions. No need to memorize combos.

It reminds me of Among Us and Town of Salem in the social guessing, a bit like classic Mafia or Werewolf Online for the voting vibe, and sometimes feels like Project Winter when alliances form and crumble.
