The Witchling

That tiny moment when you fumble the first spell and turn a neat corridor into a burning mess, then grin because chaos actually helped you win.

The Witchling plays like a tiny, scrappy action roguelite where you run, cast, and improvise. You wander hand drawn rooms, pick up odd components, mix spells on the fly and dodge a lot. Combat feels snappy but a little floaty, like your character is slippery and magical instead of a precision blade. Enemies punish standing still, but when your spells start chaining it feels properly satisfying. The progression is loose, not grindy, and I liked how the upgrades are weird enough to make each run feel different.

You basically explore short levels, gather reagents, craft or swap spells, then push to the boss. Expect some trial and error, and keep moving more than you want to.

Casual advice, try using the environment to herd foes, and save your big spells for clumps or the miniboss. If you keep one crowd control spell handy runs stop feeling impossible.
