Electric Man
You jab the punch button and the stickman flashes blue for a split second, then throws the other guy across the arena. Controls answer fast, hits feel chunky, and matches end before you realize you were holding your breath.
Basically you fight. Move around, punch, kick, block and string combos by mixing light and heavy hits. There are specials if you hold a direction plus an attack, and some levels toss multiple enemies at once so spacing matters.
Controls are simple, usually arrow keys or WASD to move, A for punch, S for kick, space to jump, and a direction plus attack for special moves, but check the button screen if the version changes keys. Blocking or crouching is usually down or another key, so use it when an enemy winds up.
It feels snappy and slightly messy, like the physics are just loose enough to make lucky hits feel glorious. I like that it does not overcomplicate things, you get skill out of timing not long combo inputs.
- Play a few rounds focusing on timing, not mashing, and you start landing clean combos.
- Keep moving and jump to avoid predictable specials, corners are brutal.
