X Trench Run

X Trench Run

Cockpit glass, a tiny reticle, and a steel trench that narrows into nothing. The visuals are simple but noisy, like someone cranked up the contrast and called it futurism. You fly down that slot, the walls buzzing with turrets, mines wobbling, and light flares when you barrel past.

Basically you pilot a little craft, dodge geometry, and shoot anything that breathes. Hold WASD or the arrow keys to steer, aim with the mouse and left click to fire, hit space for a boost. Sometimes you need to tap boost, sometimes you need to feather it and slide through a gap. The controls feel tight but a bit twitchy, in a good way.

It plays sweaty. Quick reflexs, tiny mistakes get punished, and nailing a perfect run feels ridiculous. I like how raw it is, even if the difficulty jumps can feel unfair on later trenches. Power ups pop up, grab them when you can. Don’t burn your boost on the first big gap, save one for the turret cluster at the end of a segment.

What you spend most time doing is threading, strafing, and timing shots. Runs are short, so you keep trying. There are also score chains if you want to chase leaderboards, and a few hidden shortcuts that reward risky flying.
