You gun the throttle and the back end loosens, you flick the wheel and the car slides sideways into the first corner, sparks of rubber and that stupidly satisfying chirp as speed bleeds off but you hold the line. It feels like you are always one small mistake away from a big spin, and that is the whole fun.
Drift Hunters is basically about picking a car, tuning it, choosing a runway or mountain map, and holding sideways for as long as possible while racking up points. Steering feels a bit floaty but in a good way, cars have personality, and the slow cam that follows your line makes tiny errors feel dramatic. I like that setups actually change how the car behaves, even if the menus are a little clunky.
If you want longer drifts, break earlier and tap the handbrake to initiate, then countersteer and feather the throttle. Don’t be afraid to turn off stability settings when you’re trying to learn how a car will snap out of a corner, just remember you can always reset the car if you end up facing the wrong way.
