Ruby Raid

A Space Runner With an Eye God on Your Back

Ruby Raid is a free browser arcade runner where your character sprints through a collapsing space world while an Eye God hunts from behind. You jump over gaps, shoot enemies blocking the road, and collect red rubies along the way. It plays in the browser on desktop, tablet or mobile, with no download needed.

The developer is 1Games.IO and the game landed in April 2026 as an HTML5 build. There is not much setup to sit through. You start a run, the world scrolls, and the Eye God is already closing in behind you.

How a Run Plays Out

Your runner moves automatically, so the only things you manage are the jump and the gun. Gaps tear open in the floor, cultists and airborne enemies drift into view, and the path keeps reshaping itself, which means memorizing one perfect route never works for long. A sloppy move costs the whole run, and the distance counter is the only thing you get to brag about.

Honestly, the losses sting in a good way. A run can look safe for twenty seconds and then a hazard shows up with no warning at all, and you are done. The near-miss moments are the best part for me, that half second where you clear a gap with nothing left to spare. Short runs make the whole thing easy to pick up for a break, and hard to put down after one more attempt.

Red Rubies and a Pool of 28 Guns

Enemies drop red rubies, and those rubies buy a random weapon from a pool of 28 unique guns. The randomness matters more than it sounds. Some weapons chew through ground enemies but struggle with anything in the air, and others flip that around, so a lucky drop can carry a run while a bad one forces you to play cleaner. Boosters and daily gifts add a little more to chase, and milestone rewards give short sessions something to aim at.

The Eye God Never Gives You a Break

The chase is what sets the rhythm of Ruby Raid. That giant eye stays behind you the entire time, and the space between you and it only feels comfortable for a few seconds. Airborne enemies stack on top of the ground threats as the distance climbs, so jumps and shots start to blend into one motion.

I think the pressure is the reason the game works at all. Plenty of endless runners give you a speed boost and a pat on the back. This one just keeps the threat visible behind your character the whole time, and that changes how the same two buttons feel on every attempt.

Controls You Already Know

Two keys cover everything, and the game keeps the rest out of the way:

  • Left Arrow or Spacebar jumps. Use it for floor gaps and anything low coming at you.
  • Right Arrow fires the gun. Shots go straight ahead, so firing a beat early is usually better than firing late.

No mouse, no aiming and no menus to open mid-run. The game lists browser support for desktop, tablet and mobile, so a phone or tablet works fine when you do not have a keyboard nearby.
