State.io: Conquer the World – tiny multiplayer map of grab and overrun
This plays like a board game that got caffeinated. You basically expand by sending troops from one state to another, capturing neutral or enemy regions until someone owns the map. It feels snappy and a bit chaotic, like tug of war with pixels. Sometimes it is oddly zen watching reinforcements trickle in, sometimes it turns into a stomp and you rage quit. Personal bias I admit I love sneak attacks and hate games that turn into runaway snowballs.
Controls are simple, mostly click or tap to select a state and send units, occasionally drag to move groups. If you want to be fancy you can use a keyboard hotkey or two but you do not need them. The learning curve is gentle but the meta can be brutal.
Casual advice: hold choke points, do not overextend, and swap defense for a quick counterattack when enemies split. Play small maps to learn timing. Watch how people funnel troops and copy the sneaky moves that work.
- Feels like Risk but quicker
- Reminds me of Territorial.io and Paper.io in territory vibes
- Also has shades of Warzone strategy
