Soccer Legends 2021
You click Play and within seconds your winger is sprinting along the sideline, you swipe, the ball flies, chaos follows. The matches are short, arcade style, and full of silly moments where a lucky ricochet becomes a winner.
What you do is simple, you pick a legend, run, pass, tackle and try to curl shots into the corner. There are a few team upgrades between matches but most of the fun is the quick, messy 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 kickabouts. It feels energetic, a bit slapdash, and surprisingly addictive when you just want one more match.
Controls: use WASD or arrow keys to move, mouse click or tap to pass, hold click or press Space to charge a shot, right click or swipe for a skill move. On mobile you mostly tap to pass and swipe to shoot, simple gestures that work fine even in the heat of a scramble.
I like that the matches never outstay their welcome, though the AI can be goofy and goalkeeping is occasionally hilarious, which is part of the charm. Try not to hog the ball, quick passing opens up space, and aim low into the corners rather than blasting straight at the keeper.
