Worms Io

Man, it feels like controlled chaos every time I load it โ€” my heart does this little hop when a bigger worm turns up behind me.

Worms Io plays out like a mash of survival and grab-and-grow. You slither around picking up bits, sometimes weapons, sometimes boosts, and mostly you avoid getting eaten or blown up while trying to pick off someone distracted. Movement and positioning matter more than raw aim, though there are moments of instant panic and gunfire.

I usually move with the mouse or arrow keys and click or tap for a burst or attack. Itโ€™s simple enough to pick up, messy enough to keep you scratching at the screen. Controls are light but you will notice skill show through in tight fights.

My bias: I love the messy skirmishes and hate predictable camping. Tip, donโ€™t chase every score streak; bait people into narrow corridors, grab the powerups, and bail if youโ€™re outnumbered. Learn the map edges and spawn habits, they save you more than reflexes do.

Also, try not to get greedy. Itโ€™s addictive and stupid in the best way, and sometimes youโ€™ll rage quit then come back five minutes later.
