How a Run Unfolds

You never sit still. The black hole pulls the little planet inward at all times, so every second is a balance between that pull and your thrust. Asteroids drift across your lane, hunter planets cut through the orbits, and the safe band around the hole shrinks as the run goes on. Touching anything ends the attempt, and the restart comes quickly enough that losing never stings for long.

Gravity, Risk and Score

In Orbit Rush the score climbs faster the closer you stay to the black hole. That is the whole trick, and it is a mean one. Hugging the edge of the void multiplies your points, but it also cuts the time you have to react when a rock shows up. I tend to ride the outer edge for the opening moments, then drift lower once the pull starts to feel predictable. That plan still falls apart two runs out of three.

Hunter planets are the part that gets me. They do not drift like asteroids, they lean into your orbit and force a direction change while gravity has you. A global leaderboard is there for anyone who enjoys the chase, and a fresh restart waits after every wipe. Short attempts are the point here. Ten minutes of trying to beat your own score goes by without a thought.

Controls and Inputs

One hold is the entire control scheme.

Left mouse button: hold it down to fire the thrusters and push away from the black hole.
Release the button: let go and gravity drags you back toward the hole.
Touch screen: on a tablet or phone, press and hold with a finger to do the same thing.

Timing matters more than pressure. A long hold sends you far out, which saves you from a rock but also parks you where the score barely moves. Short taps keep the planet low, and that is where the points are.
