Tallman Run

Tallman Run is a 3D arcade runner where a little guy charges down a track and grows taller and wider as he goes. You steer him left and right, pick gates that add size, and dodge everything that tries to shrink him. It is free to play in the browser on desktop, tablet or mobile, with no download.

Inside a Tallman Run Level

Every run begins with a small character jogging forward on his own. Gates hang over the track in pairs or clusters, and each one carries a sign. Plus numbers make him taller or wider, while minus and division signs cut him down. The body grows in two directions, so a run is partly about balance. A tall build clears high walls, a wide one squeezes through narrow gaps, and both versions still fold when a spinning saw or a moving wall clips them.

Obstacles are not the only thing on the track. Jump pads launch the runner over low hurdles, and gems sit in odd corners, usually just past a gate you would rather skip. Gems buy skins, hats and boosters between runs, which gives the whole thing a small progression hook beyond chasing a bigger body.

At the end of a level a giant waits on the final platform. The size you arrive with decides how hard your character kicks him, and the score multiplier follows the same logic. The game holds a 9.4 rating from 35 votes, and the simple scoring loop explains most of that.

What the Controls Do

Steering is the only thing you have to think about, which suits a game you can open for a couple of minutes.

On desktop, hold the left mouse button and drag left or right to slide the runner between lanes.
On mobile and tablet, swipe or drag a finger across the screen to move the same way.
The character runs forward by himself, so there is no run button and no jump key to learn.
Let go and he holds his lane until you drag again.

Gate Choices That Shape a Run

A lane full of plus gates looks tempting, but the numbers matter more than the color splash. Small additions are safe, while multiplication gates are worth a detour because they scale whatever you already have. One bad red gate early costs less than the same gate later in the level, when your body is huge and the boss is close. Sliding across two lanes at the last second usually ends with a clipped obstacle, so it pays to commit early and pick the clean line.

The track is short enough to replay right after a bad finish, and that is where the game gets its hooks in. You remember the gate pattern, you plan the next line, you try to reach the giant with a much bigger body than your last attempt. It is a small loop, but a tight one.

Tallman Run released on 30 June 2026 and runs on HTML5, so the same build loads on desktop, tablet and mobile without a separate app.
