Zombies and Luig

Zombies and Luig is a cute point and click puzzle adventure that runs free in your browser, no download needed. You play as Luig, a small green hero who boards an abandoned space station to rescue his pig friend Mr. Pog from a crowd of cheerful gummy zombies.

The Setup: One Pig, One Station, Too Many Zombies

Mr. Pog is a greedy little porker who wandered into the wrong room of the wrong station. Now the place hums with soft, giggling zombies, and the only way out is through them. Dialobic built the whole game in about two weeks for NoPoly’s Game Jam #1, and the jam theme, Roles Reversed, shows up in a funny way: earlier Luig adventures had you hunting for the little guy, while here you are him.

The game came out on 20 March 2026 and ships as an HTML5 build, so it opens in a browser on desktop, tablet and mobile without an install. The cartoon rooms, the goofy faces and the dreamy soundtrack from Nativica give the whole thing a warm look that hides how much trouble Luig is really in.

How A Run Through The Station Unfolds

Each room is a small scene you poke at until something clicks. You send Luig around by clicking a doorway or a patch of floor, then click whatever looks interesting: a panel, a vent, a chattering machine, a zombie that acts suspiciously polite. Items drop into a small inventory, and most puzzles ask you to use the right object on the right target, or line up a few parts before a locked door gives way.

The station is not just a backdrop either. A pipe puzzle can switch on a monitor that reveals door codes, and some rooms only make sense once you have seen another part of the map. Nothing feels unfair, though the game is short and built for one relaxed sitting. The pull comes from wanting to see what silly thing sits behind the next door, and the balls tucked around the rooms give completionists a small extra reason to look closer.

Simple Puzzles, Strict Timing

The puzzle side stays gentle, but the game mixes in quick time events when something lunges at Luig. Sitting still is a bad idea in those moments. React slowly and the little hero gets grabbed, which sends you back to retry the scene. Deaths are cheap, so they never sting for long. A five star rating from the players who have voted so far says the mixture lands better than it sounds on paper.

Controls For Mouse And Touch

Everything runs on clicks and taps:

  • Left click on a doorway, ladder or open floor to send Luig there.
  • Left click on objects, switches and characters to interact, pick things up or take a closer look.
  • Left click an inventory item, then click the thing you want to use it on.
  • Tap does the same job as a left click on tablets and phones.
  • In quick time events, click the prompt or press the shown button before the timer runs out.

No run button, no jump key, no camera to fight. That keeps your attention on spotting the next clue instead of memorizing a keyboard.
