You tap to cast, watch the little bobber arc, then wait. A sudden tug, a quick rhythm of taps to keep the line, and sometimes the fish yanks you into a tiny panic. It’s the kind of two minute loop you keep telling yourself is just one more round.
The game feels light and sticky. Fishing is simplified to timing and tiny mini games when a big catch bites. You mostly cast, time your pulls, upgrade lures and sometimes move to new spots. Controls are simple so it never gets frantic, just a steady, oddly satisfying pull and release. I like how it makes waiting feel tense without being annoying.
If you want bigger fish, aim for the edges of the shadowed water, upgrade your rod before trying deeper spots, and don’t mash the reel button when the mini game wants timing, you’ll lose fish that way. Also, try different lures, some attract slower but fatter fish.
