You click the launcher, pull back until the little penguin squints, let go and it cartwheels over the snow. That first clumsy launch is half the fun, and you will do it a bunch.
Learn to Fly, quick look
Basically you launch a penguin, earn cash for distance and stunts, then spend that cash on upgrades, gadgets and more ridiculous rockets. Flights feel springy and sorta weighty at the same time, physics that wobble just enough to be funny. Controls are simple, but the upgrades change how each run plays out.
Controls: click and drag to set angle and power, release to launch. During flight use space for your special ability, and the arrow keys to nudge or steer when you have wings or rockets unlocked. Mouse and keyboard together is how you tweak things midair.
What you do is repetitive but satisfying, like a flavor of grind where each purchase makes the next run feel different. Save some cash early for wing upgrades, they turn sloppy falls into actual glides and make missions easier. Also try mixing cheap engine boosts with a parachute, weird combos often work better than you expect.
I like that the upgrades honestly change the feel, though levels can loop a bit once you hit midgame. It stays fun because failing looks ridiculous and succeeding feels earned.
