Poxel.io

Poxel.io is a free multiplayer FPS that runs straight in your browser. You drop into blocky voxel battlefields, grab a loadout, and fight other players in team and solo matches. No download, no launcher, just a click and you are in a match.

How a Match Plays Out

Hit Play once and the lobby fills with other players. You spawn with your chosen gear, move out of cover, and try to outgun everyone you run into. The blocky art hides a nasty learning curve. Corner peeks punish slow reflexes, and the dash move pulls you out of fights you should never have started.

Four modes cover most sessions. Free for All throws everyone against everyone. Team Deathmatch splits the lobby in two and scores the combined kills. Kill Confirmed drops dog tags on every body, so you have to grab them before the other side does. Domination spreads capture points around the map and turns every round into a tug of war over a few rooms.

More than thirty maps keep the rotation fresh. Tight indoor mazes favor shotguns and grenades. Wider streets let snipers sit on rooftops and pick people off. Teammates come tagged, which matters when the chaos picks up. The whole thing runs on an HTML5 build in desktop, tablet and phone browsers, and the first match usually loads in seconds.

Classes, Weapons and the Unlock Trail

The arsenal is stacked. Assault rifles, snipers, rocket launchers, crossbows, knives and grenades all sit in the same loadout system, and classes let you lean into a playstyle instead of copying whatever the lobby is running. Unlocking everything takes a while, which is fine, because the starter guns hold their own.

Missions feed you two currencies, PX coins and gems, and those pay for skins, hats, back items and character models. The shop and inventory screens are simple enough to handle between rounds. Keep winning and your name climbs the leaderboard. That number next to your profile is pretty much the only trophy the game hands out, so people chase it hard. Chickens wander some of the maps and yes, you can shoot them. They never shoot back.

It comes from LEGION GAMES, the studio behind 2v2.io, and it landed in December 2025 with an 8.6 rating from the first couple dozen votes.

Poxel.io Controls on Keyboard and Touch

The desktop layout is standard FPS stuff, so anyone coming from another browser shooter will settle in fast.

  • WASD moves your character.
  • Space jumps.
  • X or Q triggers the dash.
  • Left click fires your weapon.
  • Right click or E raises the iron sights for tighter shots.
  • Enter opens the chat line.
  • P or Esc pauses the match and opens the settings screen.

On phones and tablets the same build opens with touch input, and a match is playable, though mouse aim on desktop is hard to beat. Private rooms work everywhere. Host a lobby, share the code, and your friends land in the same server.
