About the Game
You pull out of the start point and the city is already moving around you. Buses changing lanes, taxis cutting corners, and your only job is reaching the other side of town without folding your car in half. City Car Driving Simulator is a browser driving game about exactly that. No story, no garage cutscenes, just you, traffic, and a destination marker.
The look is plain 3D, daytime streets, simple car models. Sounds boring on paper. Then a truck drifts into your lane with nowhere to go and your heart does something stupid, and suddenly you get it. The fun here is all in the near misses.
Each clean run earns cash and that unlocks new and cooler cars, sports cars included, so careful driving literally pays. I kept telling myself one more run for the next car and somehow lost an hour. It happens.
How to Play
WASD or the arrow keys handle everything. Up accelerates, down brakes and reverses, left and right steer. That is genuinely all you need to start. The part people mess up is braking. Brake before the turn, coast through it, then accelerate out. Brake inside the turn and the car slides wide, straight into whatever is coming the other way.
Watch the gaps, not your speed. A slow car that never crashes beats a fast one that wrecks twice. And give trucks extra room, they turn wider than you think.
How the Game Plays
A run starts at one point of the city and ends at another. Between those two dots: intersections, parked cars, moving traffic, tight streets. One hard crash ends it. That is the entire loop, and it works because every run feels different. Sometimes the road is clear and you fly. Sometimes three cars arrive at the same crossing at once and you have to read the whole mess in two seconds.
The difficulty comes from patience, not reflexes. The game rewards the driver who waits half a second at the crossing instead of forcing it. Honestly that is a nice change from driving games where holding boost the whole time is the answer. Here that kind of thinking gets you wrecked.
Later runs throw denser traffic at you, so the same streets feel new again. Learning which lanes stay clear and where cars turn without signaling, that knowledge stacks up across sessions. Small thing, but it makes your tenth run feel smarter than your early ones.
