None of that changes the core loop. New sleds make the ride feel different, not easier, and the obstacles keep coming at the same steady clip. Gifts work best as a reason to take small risks, never as the main goal, because chasing a box near the tree line is how a lot of good runs die.

Snow Rider 3D Controls

The whole game runs on three keys, and that is the charm of it.

Left arrow steers the sled to the left.
Right arrow steers the sled to the right.
Up arrow or Spacebar makes the sled jump.

There is no mouse input and no way to slow the sled down, so the arrow keys are all you get and all you need. Steering in the air barely works, so line up the landing before you leave the ground. The controls are simple enough that a first run feels fine even before you know what the trees are doing.
