Lab Havoc is a free browser physics sandbox game about filling a test chamber with traps and turning a ragdoll subject into a pile of evidence. You choose the gadgets, trigger the experiment and pocket the rewards. It runs on HTML5, so there is nothing to download and no wait to get in.
How a run comes together
Every session follows the same rhythm. You get a closed test chamber, a budget and a menu of nasty devices. Place what you can afford, then activate the setup and let the ragdoll loose. The subject tumbles through spikes, lasers and whatever else you planted, and when the dust settles you get a damage report. That number sets your payout, which you spend on stronger tools for the next attempt.
The real appeal is that nothing goes exactly to plan. A rocket flings the ragdoll somewhere you never expected, a saw catches it mid-spin, and a setup you built in thirty seconds beats the one you spent ten minutes polishing. I have watched my own gravity device toss the poor guy out of the blast zone more than once. That chaos is the whole point.
Traps, lasers and gravity tricks
The toolbox splits into four rough groups. Sharp systems like spikes, saws and blades keep grinding out damage on contact. Lasers and electric devices pay off when you place them precisely. Rockets and bombs are for wide, messy chain reactions. Gravity manipulators drag the ragdoll back toward your kill paths when physics sends it rolling the wrong way.
Progression moves at a decent pace. You start with cheap parts and a small budget, and new unlocks open as you bank bigger damage numbers. Layering mid-tier devices usually beats spamming expensive ones, since a well-placed trap in a corner does far more than a rocket fired into empty space.
Lab Havoc comes from 1Games.IO and released on 22 April 2026 with a browser build that works on desktop, tablet and mobile. It sits at 8.7 from 171 votes on the 1Games portal, so the little ragdoll has plenty of company.
Mouse only, no keyboard gymnastics
There is no key list to memorise here, because everything runs on the mouse:
- Left click picks a trap from the tool menu and sets where it lands in the chamber.
- Drag with the button held slides a placed device into a better spot.
- Clicking the Play control activates the setup and drops the ragdoll in.
- Tap does the same work on phones and tablets, where the game also runs.
Spacing matters more than clicking speed. Put two devices too close and the first explosion wipes out the second one’s damage window, which is a lesson you only learn by watching your own layout fall apart.
