Two RX7 Drifters is a two player drifting game about sliding a pair of RX7 cars around three tracks. You share one keyboard, so each driver gets a separate set of keys, and the better slides decide who wins. It plays free in the browser, no download required.

Two RX7 Drifters Gameplay Basics

The setup is simple. Two cars, three tracks, one screen, and a friend close enough to hear you groan when a slide goes wrong. The tracks lean on corners rather than long straights, so most of a run happens sideways, with one slide setting up the next.

Before a run you can change the body color, add an underglow and swap the rims. It is cosmetic tinkering as far as I can tell, but it makes the two cars feel like yours instead of a pair of showroom RX7s.

Holding a Slide Without Spinning Out

Drift battles are won by sliding better, not by flooring it. A corner is where everything happens. Brake a little early, turn in, then balance the throttle so the rear steps out and stays out. Get greedy and the car snaps around, and the run turns into damage control. My own habit is to dive in too hot, scramble to catch the slide, and then blame the car.

Both drivers go at the same time, so the pressure is not only the track. When your friend is sliding right beside you, pushing harder gets tempting. One clean corner beats three messy ones, though it rarely feels that way while you are sideways.

Controls for Both Drivers

Player one: W for throttle, S for brakes and reverse, A and D to steer left and right.

No mouse involved and no menu hopping mid run. Ease off the throttle before a corner, tap the brakes, then feed the power back in as the car comes around. Holding a drift is mostly small corrections, not big steering inputs. The build opens on tablets and phones too, but the head to head duel really wants a keyboard.

Release, Rating and Platform Notes

Two RX7 Drifters released on 7 May 2026 as an HTML5 build, so there is nothing to install and it opens straight in a browser tab. Desktop, tablet and mobile are all covered. The rating sits at 10 from 11 votes, a tiny sample, but the people who bothered to vote clearly had a good time.

Eleven votes is not a crowd, and drift games live or die on feel, so that number will settle over time. What is already clear is that the duel is the reason to load it. Solo drifting works fine for learning a track, but the game gets interesting the moment a second player grabs the arrow keys.
