Rob a Car

Rob a Car is a multiplayer car theft game for the browser. You buy cheap cars, park them in a base where they slowly generate money, and swipe better rides from rival players whenever their shield drops. It is free to play and needs no download.

A Garage That Earns While You Plot

Most car games hand you a garage and a race track. This one hands you a city, a wallet and a very loose respect for other people’s property. The whole economy starts small. You walk to the spawn area, buy the cheapest model on the lot, and drop it inside your base. From that moment the car starts dripping cash into your balance, and rarer cars drip a lot faster than junkers do. The garage list runs past one hundred vehicles spread across rarity tiers, with Legendary and Mythic models sitting at the top, and filling that space with expensive metal is the long term goal everyone in the lobby shares.

What Goes Through Your Head During a Heist

Buying cars is the safe path. Stealing them is the fun one, and it comes with real stress. Rival bases are only open when their shield is down, so the good raids happen in short windows that reward patience over panic. You slip in, grab a car with E, and carry it back toward your own base while every other thief in the city watches you stumble around with a free payday over your head. Sprinting home feels great until someone swings at you mid route. Get caught inside a base when the shield snaps back up and you are stuck there with a stolen car and an angry owner, which is exactly as bad as it sounds.

Defense Is The Upgrade Nobody Celebrates

I get why people pour every coin into shiny cars first. Still, an unlocked base is an invitation, and expensive cars vanish in seconds once thieves learn your habits. Gates, traps and temporary shields are the boring purchases that keep a collection intact, and they cost far less than the Mythic you lose by skipping them. My honest advice is to grab the first security upgrade before your second car, and to keep the gate locked even when you plan to log off for five minutes. Rivals do not care about your plans, and revenge raids are half the fun of the game anyway.

Cars, Tiers And The Money Snowball

Income is tied to rarity, and that single rule shapes every decision. A starter car pays back its own price in a lazy afternoon, while a Mythic model turns your base into a proper money machine. Storage upgrades let you hold more vehicles, efficiency upgrades squeeze more cash from the ones you own, and the two together decide how quickly the snowball rolls. Sessions can be short. Collect a few minutes of income, buy one better car, maybe attempt a single raid, then close the tab and let the garage keep working. The game runs as an HTML5 build in the browser on desktop, tablet and mobile, so the same base waits for you on whatever screen is nearby at the moment.

Controls For Moving, Grabbing And Running

Five inputs cover everything you do in the city.

  • WASD or the arrow keys move your character around.
  • Mouse rotates the camera so you can look behind you while carrying a car.
  • Left click attacks rivals or smashes obstacles in your path.
  • E interacts with cars to buy or sell them.
  • G teleports you back to your base after a three second delay.

The delay on G matters more than it looks. Thieves use those three seconds to land a hit and cancel your escape, so teleporting mid fight usually wastes the cooldown. Save it for clean getaways.
