Knife Master

Knife Master is a free browser arcade game about flipping a blade into targets with a well-timed throw. You hold the mouse, drag to set the aim and the arc, then release and watch the knife tumble toward whatever is waiting. It runs in the browser on desktop, tablet, and phone, and there is nothing to download.

Timing and weight drive everything here. A short flick sends the blade spinning quick and flat, while a longer pull lifts it into a slow, high arc. Land the tip first and the streak survives. Clip the handle instead and the combo dies, a lesson you really only need once. Blades carry their own weight and balance, so a machete does not fly like a kitchen knife, and switching gear genuinely changes how the game feels.

How a Single Throw Comes Together

Every run starts from the same spot. You pick a blade, press and hold, and drag. Drag length sets the arc, the angle sets the rotation speed, and letting go is the commit. After that the knife is on its own, spinning toward a target that might be steady, moving, or sitting behind three other blades you have already thrown. Landing on the tip racks up points and builds combos, and some throws chain straight into the next one, which is where the good runs come from.

Four Modes That Change the Target

  • Target Mode puts a moving bullseye in front of you and tests pure accuracy.
  • Arcade Mode turns each throw into a side-scrolling trip, bouncing the blade from object to object on the way to treasure.
  • Climb Mode asks you to scale a vertical wall by alternating throws between surfaces.
  • BOOM Mode fills the screen with explosive targets, and a clean hit clears room for the next toss.

The environments rotate too, from backyard forests to campsites to a kitchen counter, so the targets and layouts keep shifting even after you think you have the timing down.

Blades, Coins, and Badges

More than 120 blades wait to be unlocked, and not all of them are knives. Axes, machetes, and fantasy swords are in the mix, each with its own weight and coin multiplier. That means the shop is not cosmetic; a heavier blade can steady your throws, and a high multiplier pays better on clean landings. There are also over 50 badges tied to combo milestones, and pulling off a 720-degree double flip doubles the coins when it sticks. I take that gamble way too often and it rarely ends well, though the one time it lands feels great.

Controls on Mouse and Touch

One input runs the whole game:

  • Press and hold left click on the play area to start aiming.
  • Drag the mouse to change the angle and the arc while the button is down.
  • Release to flip the knife and watch where it lands.
  • On a phone or tablet the same motion works with one finger: hold, drag, lift.

That is the entire control scheme, which is why it plays fine on a big monitor or a small screen. It also means every miss belongs to you.
