Block Puzzle
You drag the first chunky L piece from the tray and drop it on the grid, and suddenly you are hooked. The gameplay is simple, you pick shapes from a small rack and place them onto a 10 by 10 board, trying to fill rows or columns to clear space.
It feels oddly calm but sneaky tense. Sometimes you can plan like a puzzle master, sometimes one bad placement ruins five moves. I like that it does not punish you with flashy chaos, it just slowly makes you think, and then you swear under your breath when the next pieces are all tiny squares.
- Controls: click or drag with the mouse to pick and place pieces, tap and drag on touchscreens. No fancy keyboard needed.
- What you do: place blocks to complete lines or patterns, avoid leaving awkward holes, and keep space for big pieces.
- Casual advice: place large pieces early, keep the center flexible, and never trap yourself against a corner if you can help it.
- Similar games: Tetris, 1010!, Blockudoku, Unblock Me.
Play sessions are short. You can lose in two minutes or grind for a high score. It is addictive in a low key way, and great when you want something that exercises planning without needing twitch reflexes.
