Idle Breakout: a tiny brick-bashing idle toy
It feels like dropping a bag of marbles into a pinball machine and watching the chaos settle into a steady tick. You basically fling balls at numbered bricks, buy upgrades, and watch larger numbers melt away while you sip coffee and alt-tab. There’s this pleasant crunchy thunk when things pop. It’s oddly calming and a little greedy at the same time.
Gameplay isn’t explained with fanfare, it sort of happens: place ball spawners, invest in DPS, and occasionally nudge the strategy when new block waves show up. Controls are simple: mostly mouse clicks and drags to aim or place, with a couple of keyboard shortcuts for speed if you care.
My bias: I love the loop but hate having to micromanage every prestige run. Casual advice: don’t dump all your cash into one stat early, diversify and check the cost curve before you prestige. Save a bit for temporary boosts during boss waves. Expect a learning curve that levels out once you get a few automate upgrades.
