Hunter and Props

Hunter and Props is a hide-and-seek style multiplayer game with a fun twist. Instead of simply running away and hiding behind objects, players can become part of the environment and try to fool the hunter.

One side searches the map for hidden players, while the others use the surroundings to disappear in plain sight. A chair, box, decoration, or other object can become the perfect disguise.

Hide in Plain Sight

The best hiding spot isn’t always the darkest corner of the map. Sometimes it’s somewhere the hunter can see clearly without realizing that anything is wrong.

If you’re playing as a prop, pay attention to the objects around you and choose something that looks natural in its location. Moving at the wrong moment can give you away, so patience is a big part of surviving.

Hunters have the opposite problem. You need to examine the environment and notice anything that seems out of place. An object sitting where it shouldn’t be may be your target.

Hunter or Prop?

The two roles feel completely different.

As a hunter, search the map carefully and look for suspicious objects. Don’t waste time checking every corner randomly. Watch for unusual positions and anything that doesn’t fit with the surrounding area.

As a prop, blend into the scenery and avoid unnecessary movement. The longer you remain unnoticed, the better your chances of making it through the round.

Small Details Give You Away

A good disguise can still fail if you’re careless. A prop that doesn’t match its surroundings is much easier to spot, especially when the hunter knows what to look for.

Try to think from the other player’s perspective. If you were hunting, which object would immediately look suspicious?

That simple question can help you find much better hiding places.
