Power-ups also float over the net during matches, and hitting the ball through one can freeze your opponent, hand you a burst of speed, or send the ball wobbling somewhere unpredictable. The cast is built from loud cartoon caricatures of big tennis names rather than generic athletes, so every point has a bit of theater attached to it.

Keyboard Controls for Solo and Two Player Matches

Everything happens on the keyboard, so a mouse is not needed at all. Solo controls are the easy part:

Move: A and D, or the Left and Right arrow keys.
Jump: W or the Up arrow key.
Hit the ball: X or V.
Smash: Z or B.

In two player mode the keyboard splits down the middle. Player one keeps A, D, W, V and B. Player two gets the arrow keys plus L to hit and K to smash. It feels cramped if you are both crowded around a laptop, though you get used to it after a few points.
