Rooftop Snipers

You jump, fire, and the other guy slides off the roof before you even finish laughing, that’s usually how a round of Rooftop Snipers starts for me.

You’re basically two stick dudes on tiny platforms, moving left and right, jumping, aiming and blasting each other until one falls. It feels twitchy and dumb in the best way, like a tiny arcade fight with ridiculous knockback. I keep coming back when I want a five minute rage fit that still makes me grin. If you sit still you’ll get punished, so keep moving and bait a jump to land the big shot.

Controls are simple: use WASD or arrow keys to move, W or Up to jump and Space or K to shoot. Two-player local matches usually split the keyboard, so one player uses WASD and the other uses the arrow keys. There’s not much else to learn, which is the point.

It plays like Gun Mayhem or Stick Fight, but more stripped down, and it scratches the same itch as Superfighters and Broforce when you just want chaotic, rooftop chaos.
