The golden rule is to never cross another player’s fresh trail unless you are sure they cannot reach yours first, because tail hits kill both ways. Corners of the map are great nurseries, fewer angles for attackers, easy expansion along the edges.

Killing is about patience more than speed. Shadow a big player at a distance, watch where their loops repeat, then dart across their trail when they commit to a wide arc. I lose most of my runs doing the opposite, chasing kills I had no business attempting. The calm line I repeat to myself, written here like any other sentence, is to bank small gains and only hunt when the other square is already overextended.
