Swing Obby for Brainrots!

Swing Obby for Brainrots! is a free 3D obstacle game where you fire a rope at hooks and swing between floating islands to grab goofy brainrot characters. It runs in the browser, needs no download, and starts in a couple of clicks.

The build I tried is the HTML5 version, so there is nothing to install and no account wall before the first swing. It came out on 19 February 2026 from developer HEY THATS MINE, and the browser version sits at 8.9 from 61 votes. Sounds high for a game about yanking cartoon creatures around with a rope. After a few minutes I stopped doubting it.

How the Swing Loop Actually Plays

You spawn at a base, run to the edge, and leap. Hitting the next hook is where the skill lives. Shoot the rope too late and you dangle under it like laundry. Shoot too early and you sail past the island with nothing to grab. Spacebar handles both halves of the move, tap it in midair to latch onto a hook, then tap again to detach. The momentum does the rest, and a clean chain of swings across three islands in a row feels great.

Speed and distance sit on the HUD the whole time, and the rope levels up as you play, which pushes your flights further and higher. Islands are packed with brainrots, each with its own rarity, and your base slowly fills with the weird ones you decide to keep. Watch the speed counter during a good chain. It is the closest thing to a score here, and the number climbing is what kept dragging me into one more run.

Brainrots, Rarities and Merging

Bagging creatures is the point. You press R to stash a caught brainrot, U to open the bag, and then you sort through Default pulls, Godly ones, Secret ones and the rare OG tier. Duplicates can be merged to roll for a better rarity, and unattended bases can be raided with the exchange button. Cruel, but it does make you move faster.

What I like is that a bad run is not a wasted run. You can fumble every second swing and still stuff something shiny into the bag before you fall. The merging menu is simple too, two creatures in, one percentage roll out, and no deep systems to study. That green crocodile looking exclusive is the kind of thing I want parked in my base, it just looks ridiculous in the best way.

Controls for This Browser Build

Desktop play is keyboard only and the layout is easy to memorize:

  • WASD moves your character around an island.
  • Spacebar jumps.
  • Spacebar while airborne catches a hook, and pressing it again lets go.
  • R puts a caught brainrot into the bag.
  • U opens the bag.
  • E steals or exchanges brainrots near a base.

The same build opens on tablets and phones in the browser, where touch replaces the keys. Nothing to configure either way.
