Stick Kombat 2D is a 2D stickman fighting game you open straight in a browser, no download involved, with a free tower climb for one player and a local versus mode for two people on one keyboard. You pick a stick fighter, trade punches, kicks and specials, and try to drop your opponent before your stamina runs out.
A Stickman Brawler Built Around Close-Range Fights
The roster is all stick figures, which keeps every scrap easy to read. Fights happen at close range: you step in, block, catch an opening, and answer with a short string of punches. Camera shake, flashes and a sudden zoom on heavy hits make the action feel heavier than the plain art style suggests. It is a simple look, and the game knows it.
Tower Runs, Coins And Unlockable Fighters
Single player is a climb through towers, and each tower is a run of fights against AI brawlers. Beating a tower is also how you unlock more characters. Wins hand out coins, coins open new fighters, and each fighter brings a different move set, style and pair of specials. Some are quick and jabby while others hit hard and recover slowly, so spending coins on a new main is usually worth it. The early towers are short, which makes the coin grind feel light.
Stamina, Combos And Air Attacks
Combat is not pure button mashing. Every move drains stamina, so wild swings leave you tired and open to a counter. Timing matters as well: press attack at the right moment and the string continues, and if you jump behind a falling opponent you can keep hitting them in the air. Blocking soaks damage, an uppercut punishes anyone who hides behind a guard, and a breaker gets you out of a long combo. Watching that stamina bar is honestly the difference between winning a trade and losing a round, and guarding for half a second before every exchange pays off more than any flashy special.
Keyboard Controls For Solo And Two-Player Fights
The layout changes with the mode you choose. Playing alone, WASD moves your fighter, J attacks, K fires a special, and back plus K triggers a second special. Press S and J together for an uppercut, and hold S to block. In versus mode the keyboard is split in half. Player one moves with WASD, attacks with F and uses specials with G. Player two moves with I, J, K and L, attacks with the colon key, and triggers specials with the quote key.
