Neon Leap

Neon Leap is a casual action platformer about a small stickman who brings color back to a shadowy neon world. You guide him across dark stages where every landing wakes a sleeping platform and turns black shapes into glowing color. The whole thing runs free in your browser, so nothing needs to be downloaded to play.

The Core of Neon Leap

The little guy never stands still. He keeps drifting through each stage on his own, and all you control is the direction and timing of his next jump. Platforms sit in the dark like dormant geometry, waiting for him to touch them. One landing and the shape flips from black to bright pink, blue or green. Every platform on the stage has to light up before the level counts as finished, which means a sloppy route costs real time. Miss a landing and the attempt ends right there, with progress wiped back to the start. That reset stings, though it is also what makes a clean run feel so good.

Stars, Score and a Steeper Climb

Collected stars feed the score and push you to aim for the parts of the layout you would rather skip. Grabbing them while nailing a jump is where the game gets interesting, because accurate navigation is rewarded and lazy routes are not. The difficulty climbs through tighter platforms and longer jump chains, so the exact move that worked ten seconds ago may not fit the next gap. I found myself counting the rhythm of the clicks instead of watching the stickman, which feels strange until the pattern clicks, but it works.

Hazards That Demand Quick Decisions

Rotating figures, shifting platforms and sharp spikes show up early enough to keep the pace honest. Later stages add sudden flips, explosions and moving parts that appear out of nowhere, and those moments force instant decisions with no time to think. A safe run can fall apart in half a second, so staying calm matters more than moving quickly. Hitting a spike is usually less painful than hesitating and drifting into a wall of black shapes.
